Remodel of a Home on a Mountain

These homeowners went all in with their investment and wanted to ensure they were weather tight and had a home to last them years. Started with tearing off the tiny mudroom and added a farmer’s porch and new decorative thermal front door. All new windows and sliding doors in the home, adding, and subtracting some to cater to their needs while under construction. Framed in new windows, and deleted some too, including removing a slider to make room for two new windows on the back. We changed all the interior doors and trim to freshen the inside of the home and added a fresh coat of paint and did some custom work also with modifications for a dog door, a custom fireplace mantle and granite hearth to match the stone in kitchen and an accent wood wall on cabinet end wall. The detail was complimenting the farmers porch with a custom porch swing made with climbing gear because they were into mountain climbing. These homeowners have been like family for a very long time, and this was warming to do all this work for them.
